Personal project — At the Mountains of Madness
A teaser for a film vision of H.P. Lovecraft’s novella: icy mountains, a forgotten city and creatures from the dark of imagination.
Where it comes from
“At the Mountains of Madness” was one of the first H.P. Lovecraft stories I read as a child. I drew the creatures he described, trying to capture their strangeness and dread. The drawings are gone; the visions stayed with me.
What I wanted to show
With AI I can finally bring those visions to life and capture the cosmic dread Lovecraft built with words. The teaser is a first step towards a visual interpretation of the world of the Great Old Ones.
