Q Service Castrol — A pit stop in ten seconds
An AI TV spot: a racing team in Q Service Castrol colours makes a pit stop, then the car goes to the workshop. 13 days from brief to broadcast file.
The brief
Q Service Castrol, a network of over 650 car workshops in Poland, bought TV spots around motor racing broadcasts. The brand wanted a ten-second animation in which AI “dresses” a racing team in its colours. The brief arrived on 11 March 2026 and the spot had to be ready for broadcast two weeks later.
What I did
I made the spot together with Marta Solik, Piotr Soszyński and Bartosz Grabarczyk. We started with the team’s look: a blue race car with the brand’s lime accents, overalls and helmets carrying only the Q mark. The car has its own generic silhouette and livery, and the only logos in frame belong to the client.
Every mechanic got a role, as in a real pit stop: wheels off and on, tightening, release. Synchronised movement of a dozen people is the hardest task for video models, so we built the sequence from many generations and refined it after the client’s frame-by-frame review. I put it all together with the voice-over, the client’s workshop network animation and the end board, to broadcast spec.

The result
The broadcast file reached the client on 24 March 2026, 13 days after the brief. In April I prepared further broadcast versions of the spot.
