On 27 November 2024, I ran a 45-minute workshop titled "AI in wonderland: new trends, tools, possibilities" on the main stage of the Local-SoMe'24 congress in Wrocław. The congress is organised by Samorządowe Internety, so I spoke about how AI can help with communication with residents and in information campaigns.
I started with the fresh launch of the new Luma Labs platform, then I moved on to my prompting techniques. The main points:
- The Polish Bielik model can be run on your own infrastructure, which protects data confidentiality. It works brilliantly in email analysis: from ticket classification, through risk and emotion assessment, to an action plan.
- Basic prompting rules: ask precise questions, verify suggestions, work step by step, experiment, and keep your own style.
- The six thinking hats method provides a multi-faceted perspective on a problem and supports more creative decisions.
- The average novelty in works created with AI may drop, although the best ideas become more prominent. Humans are still important.
- Repeat. Fail. Experiment. Learn. Some ideas take time to work, but thanks to AI you can test faster what works or what people like.
