On 28 October 2025, I delivered a lecture at Akademia Kreatywności titled "Transformacja myślenia: wizjonerski umysł", organised by Fundacja TEMIDA Arts & Business at Uniwersytet Bielsko-Bialski. In the visual arts block, I discussed managing the creative process in the age of AI, and then answered questions from the audience.
What I discussed:
- Creativity is not just art. It is any process that helps us create something new and delivers value. You can also write code creatively.
- AI cannot work alone because it tends to average things out. The human element is essential: it is the human who sets the direction and interprets what AI generates. We cannot hand everything over to AI.
- Stories are much more memorable. I demonstrated the story structure using the Allegro advert for the brand's 25th anniversary, which still moves me.
- The biggest killer of creativity is forcing people into KPIs. What matters is not only how much and how we work, but also how we rest.
- You need to write down all your prompts and archive the entire process. And there is a fine line between plagiarism and inspiration.
You can find the recording of the lecture on YouTube (from 3:40:00), and the event programme on the Akademia Kreatywności website.
